JOB DESCRIPTION & APPLICATION FOR A SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE
FINNLEMM Development Company Limited (FDCL) is a limited liability company incorporated in Kenya. The company is an investment arm of Finnlemm Sacco Society established to allow for diversification of investments on behalf of the Sacco. The Company is wholly owned, controlled, and managed by Finnlemm Sacco on behalf of the members.
We are looking for a Property Sales & Marketing Officer to be based in Kisumu to support sales of an expanding portfolio for the company.
The main purpose of this role is developing and implementing strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve company’s business growth objectives.
The main duties include
- Actively seeking out new property clients, implementing and monitoring sales and following through for target achievement.
- Making appointments and accompanying clients during visits and inspections of properties.
- Effective and professional handling of all customer interactions via outgoing sales call to offer products at regular and special prices to increase sales volume.
- Managing sales and marketing budgets within approved budget limits.
- Creating marketing content and updating and managing company digital resources such as website, blog, social media, newsletter and others to achieve targets.
- Planning and implementing advertising and promotion activities.
- Managing overall sales and marketing activities that include market research, sales presentations, analysis of sales and marketing trend, advertising and marketing promotional events.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the various sales strategies and coming up with the changes as may be needed.
- Acquiring and maintaining business collaborations and relationships with third party agents.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification and required profile
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing. Property sales experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Results oriented mind-set with good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytic skills, including ability to independently conduct real estate market research and analyze competition.
- Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
- Strong computer skills, including high level of proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage productive relationships with but not limited to property buyers, property owners, public officials.
- Creativity, entrepreneurial, and a self-driven attitude towards work.
- Demonstrates superior time management skills and meeting sales deadlines.
